Medical Clinic Supervisor
MD Centres - Sherwood Park, AB

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our exciting team at MD Centres. This is a full-time position at our Sherwood Park Location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling staff members and cost control
  •  Direct supervision of staff at the location to ensure all tasks are completed
  •  Liaison between the patients and the physicians
  • Liaison between physicians, staff and management
  • Scheduling, confirming & rescheduling appointments
  • Invoicing and collecting payments for uninsured services
  • Prioritizing tasks as per urgency
  • Rooming patients
  • Review, file and address incoming faxes accordingly
  • Assist and prepare examination rooms
  • Able to assist physicians & take necessary vitals
  • Complete forms and documentation pertaining to specimen samples
  • Third party billings

Candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Medical Office Assistant certification
  • Experience with Health Quest EMR system at least 2 years.
  • Management experience in a medical office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and as part of an integral team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to problem solve and possess critical thinking skills
  • Valid first aid and CPR certification is an asset

Family Physician - 2 Vacancies
Tri Wellness MD Centre - Spruce Grove, AB

Job Summary

Tri Wellness MD Centre is currently seeking to hire TWO family physicians to join our new clinic in Spruce Grove, Alberta. (Clinic address will be provided upon request by interested applicants). All positions are permanent and full-time. The physician and Tri Wellness MD Centre will share fee-for-service billings for overhead expenses with a signup bonus/ relocation allowance to facilitate a smooth transition.

Our clinic is very spacious, modern and use a hassle free, paperless EMR system which allows for work from home. We welcome walk-in patients and also provide family practice opportunities. We will also have specialists on site to ensure that our patients receive care in a timely manner.

Tri Wellness MD Centre would like to offer this opportunity to work in an enhanced practice environment that fits your life style and availability, without administrative time commitments. Our clinic will be open extended hours on weekdays and also on weekends, allowing physicians to have flexible working hours, and flexible working arrangements.

Education and experience: Licensed by college of physicians and surgeons of Alberta.

Job duties: The physician will be providing primary care to patients, including diagnosing and treating medical disorders, interpreting medical tests, prescribing medications, and making referrals to specialist physicians as appropriate.

Skills required: special training in family medicine; ability to work effectively, independently and in a multi-disciplinary team; effective written and verbal communication skills.
